I got a raise today! But my boss also told me that the business isn't doing well. I feel a little guilty for asking for more than he offered, but we compromised in between so it should be fine.. An extra dollar over what he wanted isn't going to bankrupt the company. On average I lose about $100 a month. Since living alone I've been losing money, but now I think it will change. I'm honestly a little worried about my job. It's a small company, and it felt like things weren't doing well when they didn't want to hire someone to replace the person who did customer service. (that is now my job). I really don't know what I would do if the place shuts down. I have a degree but I'm not qualified for many jobs. I could be a greenhouse tech, which would pay less than I make now and also be very hard. I come into work and leave whenever I want, I really like all my coworkers (well, mostly), and I get to learn about events and stuff going on around town. Hopefully the place recovers, but idk, my boss is putting a lot of work into setting up his own online store and I'm not sure if it is worth it. Ebay takes a lot of fees out of the payment, but they also protect us from a lot of scams and such.
I was planning on buying a switch 2 to celebrate the raise and my birthday but now I'm not sure. I kinda just want to pay off my credit cards. If anything I want less stuff in the house.
