blogging about blogging

Like a lot of people recently, I've deleted a lot of social media accounts and am trying to be more offline. It's been great! I started this somewhat accidentally last year when I had to get a new phone, and learned about dumbphones. Since then I've deleted my twitter & Spotify, use a flip phone, and am learning HTML with my website. Considering my goal to be more "offline", I was hesitant to make a new account somewhere. I have my website to play with, but I don't have the skills to make an easy to update blog section. Idk! I'm doing this because it seems fun and I want to try. I was getting caught up in trying to be ascetic, when it's really not that serious.

I'll be writing about irl magic, fetishes, music and other garbage. I don't know the general consensus of nsfw stuff on bearblog, so I'm a bit nervous about posting anything too horny.

One frustrating thing I keep running into on the smallweb, is unclear nsfw policies, and a general absence of sexual topics. (wtf is the difference between pornographic sex and art sex lol?) One of the first things to get banned when a website goes commercial is NSFW content. It feels counterintuitive that these spaces free from advertiser policy are still suffering from this sanitation. I might just be unlucky in my search for fellow freaks, and neocites thankfully does not feel this way! Shoutouts to Krystal and her shrine of dudes with fat balls. I don't want to have to worry about if what I'm writing will be acceptable, and just focus on the fun of writing!

I believe that discomfort is necessary for growth, and sexual freedom is the most basal, important freedom there is. I love reading freak shit, and maybe, dear reader, you will enjoy reading MY freak shit.

xoxo
